Assessing

assessingMilford Township hires Oakland County to do their assessing throughout the year. You will see our friendly appraisers throughout the Village and Township all through the summer months. Oakland County also provides for an Assessor to be present at each of the three Boards' of Review.

MARCH BOARD OF REVIEW
Board of Review hearings takes place the Tuesday following the first Monday in March and continues until all appeals are heard. The dates can also be found on the bottom of the assessment notice that goes out in February. You can schedule an appointment by calling Oakland County Equalization Division prior to February 28th at 1-888-350-0900, Extension 80773 or 248-858-0773 for clerical errors, omissions, hardships, and homestead appeals.

JULY BOARD OF REVIEW
Meets for one day only on the Tuesday following the third Monday in July, for clerical errors, omissions, hardships and Homestead appeals. 

DECEMBER BOARD OF REVIEW
Meets the Tuesday following the second Monday in December for Homestead corrections, hardships, mutual mistakes. 

LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS, ADDRESSES, PARCEL NUMBERS, SEV OR TAXABLE VALUES, BUILDING DETAILS SUCH AS YEAR BUILT, SQUARE FOOTAGE, ACREAGE, ETC... Can be printed at Milford Township Office or Oakland County Property Gateway
