Dog Licenses

They are now available in one or three year licenses. Be sure to bring a current approved rabies vaccine certificate to be presented at time of purchase of dog license. Cash, check, or credit cards are acceptable methods of payment at Township Offices. There is a fee for credit cards. Credit card payments available at Animal Control Website.

A Oakland County license must be purchased within 30 days of:

Purchasing or acquiring a new dog
A puppy turning 4 months of age
Becoming a Michigan resident
Moving from another county to Oakland County
The expiration date of the prior license
